1.Disable consistency protection for SRDF/A pairs
symrdf -g dgname disable
or
symrdf –sid xxx -f [filename.txt] disable –rdfg xx
2.Change SRDF mode from Async to Adaptive copy write pending
symrdf -g dgname set mode acp_disk
or
symrdf –sid xxx -f [filename.txt] set mode acp_disk –rdfg xx
3.Initiate disks pair syncing from R1 to R2
symrdf -g dgname establish
or
symrdf –sid xxx -f [filename.txt] establish –rdfg xx
4.To query syncing status
symrdf -g dgname query
or
symrdf –sid xxx -f [filename.txt] query –rdfg xx
Wait until the invalid track count is under 30,000 tracks
5.Change the SRDF mode to Asynchronous
symrdf -g dgname set mode async
or
symrdf –sid xxx -f [filename.txt] set mode async
6.Enable consistency protection for SRDF/A pairs
symrdf -g dgname enable
or
symrdf –sid xxx -f [filename.txt] enable –rdfg xx
